Director Power Solutions , published by New Riders, includes four chapters written by Bruce Epstein. Three of his chapters cover QuickTime and digital video, and the remaining chapter covers saving and retrieving the user's game state or a high score chart. Other chapters by other authors cover a wide variety of tips and tricks. The books has gotten excellent reviews. Check out Amazon.com for details.
Inside Director 5 with Lingo - muscle-building tomes, about 900 pages each, sold separately for Mac and Windows from New Riders. Good section on Lingo by Gretchen Macdowell, with tips for both beginners and advanced Liguists.
Lingo! by Tab Julius - New Riders / Macmillan Press. Decent for beginners (once you get past the chapter explaining where scripts are located) and intermediates with an occassional tip for the advanced Linguist.
Lingo Workshop - John Thompson Hayden Books. Okay for beginners and intermediates. No real meat for the advanced Linguist.
