Dear Multimedia Developer,
Thank you for choosing Zeus Productions Software development tools. We welcome
your feedback on existing products and suggestions for enhancements or new
products.
The Zeus Productions Licensing information is in Adobe Acrobat PDF (Portable
Document Format) files. They can be read with Adobe Acrobat Reader on
both the Mac and Windows platforms.
You probably have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader already on your system,
but if not, it can be downloaded for free from http://www.adobe.com

The enclosed End-User License Agreement governs the use of the software
you have purchased. Please read it carefully, as use of the software constitutes
acceptance of the agreement. This agreement covers the use of the software
on your computer only. A separate agreement covers run-time distributions.

The enclosed licensing agreements define the specific terms under which
you are granted a license to use and/or distribute Zeus Software and Zeus
Run-Time Software. Even if you have purchased Zeus software, you may NOT
distribute any Zeus Run-Time software without first complying with the Run-Time
Licensing Agreement, so please read it carefully. If you are unsure of your
need to comply with this agreement, please contact Zeus Productions immediately.
The enclosed Run-Time License Agreement allows you to distribute your
products which contain Zeus Run-Time software, provided you meet certain
requirements. Zeus's "Juiced with Zeus" program is modeled
closely after the "Made with Macromedia" requirements with which
you should be familiar. These requirements include:
- Filling out the Run-Time License Agreement
- Submitting two not-for-resale copies of the product to Zeus Productions
- Including the Zeus logo in your credits screen and printed materials
for the product and its packaging in accordance with Zeus Productions' guidelines
- Including the Zeus trademark and copyright notices for each and every
Zeus Run-Time module included with your project.
The trademark notice should take the form:
"Juiced with Zeus", the "Juiced with Zeus" Logo and
productNames are trademarks of Zeus Productions.
This copyright notice should take the form:
productName(tm) Copyright © 1996-1997. Zeus Productions. All Rights
Reserved
such as:
zScript(tm) and zLaunch(tm) Copyright © 1996-1997. Zeus Productions.
All Right Reserved.
On the Macintosh, the trademark symbol () is created by typing Option-2.
On the Macintosh, the copyright symbol (©) is created by typing Option-g
On the Windows PC, use "(tm)" for trademarks and "(c)"
for copyrights if necessary
The copyright and trademark notices must appear on the credits screen,
in any electronic README or similar files, and in any printed materials
which accompany the product.
Electronic versions of the Zeus Logo are provided in "ZeusLogo.DIR".
This file is provided in Director 5.0 format. If you are using Director
4.0, visit our web site at http://www.zeusprod.com for the artwork. Additional
EPS and PICT versions are provided for your convenience when creating your
printed materials.
NOTE: Even when you comply with the "Juiced with Zeus" logo
requirements, you are only entitled to distribute a limited number of products
(usually five) which use the Zeus Run-Time software. Consult your Run-Time
Licensing Agreement for complete details.
