of multimedia consultancy offering programming services for Macromedia
Director and (Lingo) and Flash (ActionScript). As the owner of my own
consultancy I have extensive experience in all areas of running a company
from both technical and business perspectives. I am a world-renowned Director and Lingo developer and the author of several books including "Lingo in a Nutshell" and "Director in a Nutshell" published by O'Reilly & Associates. I am the editor of numerous Flash and ActionScript books from O'Reilly (see http://zeusprod.com/flashbooks.html for the complete list, including several well-respected books by Colin Moock.). I have programmed dozens of commercial CD-ROM titles, including "Last Call" a bartending simulation for Cutler Creative (http://www.lastcallgame.com) published by Simon & Schuster Interactive. This game features heavy database and AI components as well as extensive use of Macromedia Flash animation. I have programmed numerous other multimedia sales presentations, kiosks, and training modules for Fortune 500 companies such as Nestle, Dun & Bradstreet, Mass Mutual, and Chrysler. One recent project was an extensive SQL-database-driven touchscreen kiosk for Maytag. I have extremely broad and deep knowledge of all aspects of multimedia production including project budgeting, estimation, and management, plus content specification, development, and delivery on both CD-ROMs and the internet (Shockwave and Flash Player). I have extensive experience with everything from user interface and human design issues to low level database and device interface programming. |
